Big News at DNN World 2012

PowerDNN is getting ready for DNN World 2012, the world’s largest global conference for the DotNetNuke community, this October 10-12 in Orlando, Florida. Though the conference will discuss a variety of topics, like Social CMS, the Cloud, and DotNetNuke services, everyone there will have one thing on their minds. The big news for this event is the release of DotNetNuke 7.

DotNetNuke 7: The CMS that’s Ready

DotNetNuke 7 is designed to work with the latest technology, including Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, ASP.NET 4.5, and Visual Studio 2012.  More information on Windows Server 2012 can be found at our blog Windows Server 2012: What it will do for You and the World.

Some of the changes coming with DotNetNuke 7 are a simplified installation, a Web API Service framework, a more flexible Message Center, a complete Default.css overhaul, and a new developer and admin skin. With DotNetNuke 7, the DNN team wants to bring you from the present to the future and supe-up your website. More information will be released at DNN World 2012, but those who can’t wait until then can download DotNetNuke 7 Community Technology Preview (CTP) at the codex website.

PowerDNN and DotNetNuke 7: There is no substitute for performance

PowerDNN has always been about performance, and DotNetNuke 7 will be no exception. Our theme compares the enthusiasm and world-class performance of DotNetNuke 7 with the cutting-edge, technological vigor of the racing world. We have some VERY special surprises coming to DNN World that reflect this. Who ever said that performance could not be fun?

We are still putting together the last touches on everything, but stay tuned for more information coming soon, including a video, more in-depth analysis, and a top-secret prize for one lucky DotNetNuke fan at DNN World 2012.
